Term 3 Professional Growth
Term 3 brings it new challenges and learning. This term I have been asked to be our Junior team, Waka Ahuru's team leader. Wow, what a privilege this is for me to be thought of and considered as I have only been a Homai for 1 term.
All I know is I bring new thinking, new vibe and a new perspective on things.
I look forward to this new role as it is for the rest of the year as I get to know by new team and build new professional relationships with them.

As well as learning in this new role at a new school, our school has been participating in Professional Learning Development.
Maths with Bina, Structured Literacy, Innovative Learning and Relationship First are the PLD's that stood out for me and I have taken for me to apply to my teaching practice.
Lastly, my beautiful class is growing and teaching me so much.
By the end of the term, I have had 7 new students start school.
